MBMS-LTE-Sim: Mobile Network Simulation Tool
MBMS-LTE-Sim is an open Source simulation platform supporting the joint Unicast/Multicast scenario based on the establishment of additional entities to the LTE-Sim's basic system. The two main entities are, the Multicast Control Entity (MCE) requise for MBMS transmission control and the MB-SG entity dedicated to routing multicast streams, as well as the implementation of functionalities and modules conform to standards. It designed in such a way that it can be disseminated in the community, allowing the possibility of becoming a reference tool for the development of research in the mobile network field. Its functionalities therefore remained compliant to 3GPP LTE standards and implemented in such a way as to be correctly integrated in the LTE-A system architecture.
